It May Be Winter, But We Stay Green!

Here at All Eyes on Rockville, we are very conscious about our environment and doing our part to protect our planet, and thus, there are many strategies we have implemented in order to reduce waste!

From the moment you enter our office you may notice that our check in process is streamlined and paperless! We use laminated forms and dry erase markers which are then cleaned and reused for the next patient. Our medical records are entirely electronic and correspondence with our patients is via email and text. Even your medical prescriptions are communicated directly to your pharmacy via e-prescribing, further reducing excess paper waste! 

We take great pleasure in offering espresso, tea and water to our patients. You may note that our plastic cups are 100% compostable and made from plants, whilst our paper cups are made from recycled materials. Our Nespresso pods are 100% recyclable and we send them back to the manufacturer monthly!

Contact lenses and blister packs are the latest materials that can be added to the "green" list! We are proud to participate in a program called One by One which will recycle your contact lenses and packaging. You may drop your said materials here in our office or directly from your home. Feel free to ask us how you too can participate!
